Top price per kg and Top price per head going to a pen of 10x 44.5kg Prime Lambs selling at £204 or 458p/kg from P & R Clark

➡️ Sale of Prime and Store Lambs & Hoggets, Cull and Breeding Ewes, Beef Cattle and Barren Cows

🐑 Trade appearing to be holding again at the start of this week, with best quality lambs trading around the 420-440p/kg. A good entry required and we strong advise selling at fit lambs on this current trade.

Cull Ewes continue to be a good trade. Good numbers needed again for tomorrow’s sale.

🐄 A good entry of prime cattle and barren cows needed. All breeds, ages and types saleable at Cirencester Livestock Market.

➡️ Another good and very pleasing entry for the time of year, with 143x store cattle forward, being mainly stronger farming sorts. Selling to a very competitive trade.

💥 Overall average £1,562 or 335p/kg

🏅 Top price per head being £2,540 (339p/kg) for an Aberdeen Angus X Steer (23 months) from E G Hedges & Son.

🏅 Top price per kg going an British Blue X Steer (15 months) from R T Moreland selling at 404p/kg (£1,555)

🐄 Steers to £2,540 or 404p/kg, Average £1,667 (340p/kg)
🐄 Heifers to £1,820 or 378p/kg, Average £1,368 (325p/kg)
🐄 Feeding Bulls to £1,920 or 312p/kg

➡️ A short entry of calves, but some good quality calves on offer selling to a flying trade. More calves needed each week with good buyer demand being experienced.
