Here are the gems from our latest wanderings 👇

The Crowst Hut- unreal breakfast. Served from 9-11:30. VG friendly. Most welcoming team and such a lovely little spot that feels like only the locals know about.

Walk from Uny Church down the coast path to Lelant Beach. Want to go a little further? Follow the beach round and watch the waves roll in. Great surf spot too 🏄‍♀️

Sound bath in a cave courtesy of .with.siobhan 10/10 experience in Newquay and the most picture perfect location. Highly recommend!

POM Cornwall what a fantastic little spot in Porthleven. Great food. Great people! 🍅 you can’t miss it.

Artist Residence Penzance lovely little spot and highly recommended to us to pay a visit, down in Penzance. Short walk from some other faves and 10 min drive from

Scarlet hot tub & natural pool overlooking the ocean. Does it get any better than this? We stopped for a spa break, relaxation & afternoon tea. It was so good ☺️

And saving our fave til last - some may say the best pizza in Cornwall. Flour Power Pizza Parlour park up in Portreath & Hayle throughout the week. We stopped at St Ives Brewery on Friday for a pint & a slice. The halloumi one is SO GOOD! 🍕🍕🍕

Hidden beneath the canopy of Tehidy Woods sits The Lodge, our Grade II listed 18th‑century thatched cottage that once guarded the grand entrance to the Basset family’s Tehidy Estate - a landscape first recorded in the Domesday Book.

💭 Imagine the stories its walls could tell.

Centuries ago, this beautiful lodge watched over a world of horse‑drawn carriages, estate workers, and the sweeping parkland designed for one of Cornwall’s most influential families. It stood through the rise of the mining era, the estate’s transformation into a sanatorium, and the rebirth of Tehidy as the woodland haven we wander today.

Now, this fairytale gatehouse welcomes visitors instead of gatekeepers - offering original features, woodland gardens, and that rare feeling of stepping into a story that started long before you arrived.
