ELG have some exciting news to share!

Having celebrated our 30th year in the town we are currently working on the renovation of the former Grange Nightclub on Grange Road. We have done many site visits over the years, but it has been empty and unloved for a while now and works have started to convert the building to a new head office. The new ELG office will enjoy open plan spaces, more meeting rooms and external spaces for staff and meetings. The rest of the courtyard will be put to a use that will allow others in the town to enjoy this unique space and discussions are ongoing with potential tenants.

Our current office, which has been a great home for nearly 15 years, will be marketed shortly as we look for new tenants before the move over to the new Head Office.

We look forward to inviting clients and colleagues to the new HQ towards the end of the year once we have finished draining the bar and given it a lick of paint.

And yes, we have secured planning permission for the works!

Back in September last year ELG Planning answered an appeal for help to set up a Darlington based Comets Team a pan-disability football programme with Spaire Lads. We today recieved news of a successful first season and a nomination for the Special Recognition Award. As a result of all the hard work of coach Katy McLaren and the team, football is accessible to many more children in our town!

This afternoon members of the ELG Planning ELG Heritage team planted a tiny forest as one of this years 12 good deeds. Thanks to the wonderful guys at Rabbit Hill Business Park for providing the trees and the Friends of the Denes team for providing guidance. Great team effort! 👏
