Volunteers' Week has got me thinking about the causes that matter most to me.

I am a proud supporter of Friends of Dantre Hospital, a cause that is close to my heart because during my Dad's end of life they made him so comfortable and we were able to spend as much time as we needed with him and this was during the end of Covid, I cannot sing their praises enough, the support we had from all of them was just heartfelt.

World Cocktail Day was 2 weeks ago, but the weather was to nice to not repeat. A perfect time to discover a new local favourite.

One spot worth checking out in Daventry is Viento Lounge - great drinks, great atmosphere, fantastic for people watching, and always a good choice for a catch-up.
