Here are a few secret gems worth seeking out before the Fringe finishes on 31 August:

🎭 Free Fringe shows – comedy, cabaret, theatre and plenty of wonderfully weird Fringe moments, with hundreds of free-entry and pay-what-you-can performances taking place across the city.

🎶 Pop-up music & performances – keep an eye (and ear!) out around the Grassmarket, New Town, Cowgate and smaller venues. You never know what you might stumble across.

🎨 Edinburgh Art Festival – explore exhibitions and installations around the city, with plenty of opportunities to discover something new without spending a penny.

👀 Street performers – sometimes the best show is the one you didn't plan to see! Wander the Old Town and see where the crowds take you.

☕ Find a quiet corner – escape the crowds, grab a coffee and enjoy the atmosphere from one of Edinburgh's many hidden courtyards, closes and little streets.

The phrase that probably gets the biggest eye roll from my clients... "Trust the process."
