Passion4Fussion Summer Football Festival

We are thrilled to announce registration is open for the Passion4Fussion Community Festival on Saturday 27th June 2026 in Edinburgh.

The event will feature a full programme of football for age groups 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016 & 2015, split by ability, with matches across 4, 5 & 7-a-side formats.

Following this morning’s extremely sad news, Dalkeith Bowling Club is further saddened to share the passing of Annette Knox.

Alongside her beloved Davie - who passed away yesterday - Annette’s impact at the club was immense.

Ever-present at Ironmills, the Knox’s were two of the most familiar and friendly faces and constant contributors to our club.

This is a deeply sad day for all of us at Dalkeith, but we will never forget how much the Knox’s did for us.

Our most sincere condolences go to the Knox family during this extremely difficult time.

Dalkeith Bowling Club is deeply saddened to share the passing of long-serving member, David Knox.

Davie’s contribution to the club was seismic. Simply put, DBC wouldn’t be what it is today without him.

An honorary member, Davie was also our bar manager for a great number of years - fulfilling roles many wouldn’t even know of.

We will forever be grateful for this commitment to our club.

Our deepest condolences go to the Knox family, following this sad news.
