Flying gymnasts? Gigantic pigeons? Not your ordinary day in Dalmarnock... 🐦

CCG Homes was delighted to be present for the grand opening of Pigeon Park - a new addition to the ongoing regeneration of Dalmarnock in Glasgow’s East End, located just a short walk from our brand-new development, ‘Dalmarnock Quarter’. 🏠

Led by in partnership with , the £1.05m project’s naming rights were put to a public vote, with Riverbank Primary School’s entry coming out as the winner, with the name chosen as an affectionate nod to the pigeons that roost in Dalmarnock Train Station. 🚂

Team Scotland Commonwealth Games gymnast Pavel Karnejenko took part in a ceremony with local councillors and pupils from primary schools in the area - check the backflip!

Pupils were ecstatic to see the name unveiled – and to meet the park’s larger-than-life pigeon mascot, who surprised the winning school with a cheque for £1,000 from Clyde Gateway. Runner-up schools in the naming contest – St Anne’s and Dalmarnock Primary- were also awarded £500 👏

This is a fantastic addition to the community and one in which we and have proudly supported!
