WE'RE EXPANDING OUR LETTINGS TEAM 🏡
We're looking for an experienced Part-Time Lettings & Property Coordinator to join us at Crendon House.
But this isn't your typical letting agency job.
We're deliberately designing this role around genuine flexibility.
We know there are some very good, experienced people in the property industry who can't, or simply don't want to work the traditional letting agency pattern of sitting in an office from 9am - 6pm, five or six days a week.
You might have children to drop off and collect from school, other commitments during the day, or simply want more control over when and where you work.
That's absolutely fine with us.
Ideally, we would like someone available across five days of the week, but we're much more interested in the job getting done and providing an exceptional service to our landlord and tenants being than exactly where or at what time every piece of work happens.
Some of the role can be carried out from home, while naturally there will be times when you'll need to be out conducting viewings, visiting properties or dealing with something in one of our offices during normal working hours.
The role will involve helping us manage the day-to-day running of our lettings portfolio, including:
- Speaking with applicants and arranging viewings
- Carrying out property viewings
- Handling tenant referencing and pre-tenancy documents
- Dealing with landlord and tenant enquiries
- Managing maintenance issues and liaising with contractors
- Keeping landlords updated
- General lettings administration and updating of our internal software systems
- Helping us deliver the high level of service our landlords and tenants expect
What you won't be expected to do is prospect for new landlords, win instructions or carry out rental valuations. We’ll handle that side of the business. Unless of course you are open to that, again we are super flexible on this for the right person.
We're looking for somebody who already understands lettings, so recent residential lettings experience is essential. You'll need to be confident speaking with landlords, tenants, applicants and contractors, comfortable working independently and good at managing several things at once.
You'll also need to live reasonably locally to Wooburn Green, Bourne End or Beaconsfield, as you'll regularly be carrying out viewings and visiting properties in the area.
This could be particularly well suited to somebody who has stepped away from a traditional full-time letting agency position because the hours no longer fit around their life, but who still enjoys the industry and wants to put their experience to good use.
