I really should start taking before photos!
This space was bare concrete as it is part of there outhouse.
We have prepped the subfloor with DPM membrane and fitted 10mm laminate to Finnish of the job. A few doors needed trimming down and a little creativity was needed to navigate some existing pipe work.
Now this space feels like an expansion of the house, rather than a cold storage shed.

This is why I love what I do!

A few days earlier this was just a bare subfloor.
After careful preparation, plenty of planning and a lot of attention to detail, it's been transformed into a floor that will be enjoyed for years to come.

All but the bathroom floor changed on this project!
When discussing the best options for this laminate install the customer expressed concerns about potential repair work as they have a young child. We suggested breaking up the laminate with door bars into each room, that way it will be possible to repair one room without affecting any others.
The Kronospan laminate is looking great as always, installed in the kitchen, hall, living room and cupboards. Then some thick Seaton Valley carpet to add some comfort into the bedrooms.

All ready for the customer to move into their new home, I hope you enjoy!

Meet Katie, our middle child, who's 15! 😊

This week she's joining us at Eden Flooring for her work experience.

For the first few days, she'll be finding out what it's really like to put in some hard graft, helping David with screeding and fitting LVT. Then, for the last few days, she'll be joining me to learn the admin side of the business – contacting customers, placing orders, and even creating a Facebook post.

We'll try not to work her too hard... but no promises! 🤣

Back from flooring skills! Highly recommend their week-long advanced carpet fitting course. Darren was a great teacher and the knowledge was on point as always.
This is my second training session with floor skills and I will for sure be back in the future.
