Alongside wider reforms, including developments in social housing such as Awaab’s Law, the direction of travel is clearly towards improved standards, fairness, and accountability. From 31 May 2026, all landlords must ensure tenants have been issued the Renters’ Rights Act Information Sheet.

📄 This isn’t just guidance - it’s a legal requirement
⚠️ Failing to provide it could impact your compliance and ability to take action later

What you need to do:
✔️ Make sure all tenants receive the information sheet
✔️ Review existing tenancies to ensure compliance
✔️ Keep records of when it’s been issued
