A quieter one this month, but still plenty of good conversation — meeting people at different stages of their property journeys, sharing knowledge and discussing potential deals and opportunities.

The weekend wasn’t quite as quiet as I expected.

I never imagined that a broken lock could set off the chain of events it did.

So today… a new set of keys after the lock was replaced.

Property isn’t always about viewings and handing over keys. Sometimes things go wrong. You get it sorted as quickly as possible and move on.

It’s all part of the job.

One thing this weekend reminded me of is the value of having the right people around you.

Updating and organising my landlord contact database.

Not the most exciting part of property, but having good systems and staying organised makes a huge difference over time.

Property is ultimately a people business, and it’s amazing how often opportunities come from a conversation you’ve had months or even years ago.
