It was wonderful to have Haircuts 4 Homeless back with us yesterday. If you are a barber or hairdresser and can spare a few hours a month please contact them directly to volunteer.

Great day connecting with the local community! 🤝

Today, we had the pleasure of attending a networking event at Liverpool's Creative Hub at The Bluecoat alongside so many fantastic local charities, community organizations, and volunteer groups.

Events like this are a powerful reminder of how strong Liverpool's community network is. It was a brilliant opportunity to represent The Whitechapel Centre, learn more about the incredible work happening across our city, and explore new ways we can collaborate to support those who need it most.

Looking forward to building on these new connections! 💡

The New Beginnings arts & craft group members have been designing their own tote bags and they are almost ready to show off. Each design is full of personality, imagination and talent.

Creative sessions like these offer space to unwind, forget about everyday pressures for a while and build positive friendships.

Over the past year we have been working to obtain Women's Aid Ally membership. We needed to demonstrate a wide range of the work we do and the policies that underpin our practice. The membership allows access to training, member events and a range of resources to enhance our delivery of specialist domestic abuse services for those experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

It has been a big task and a long journey to get here but we are so pleased that we have been granted the membership and look forward to working with 's Aid
