Some of the residents at Whitley House got stuck into a cake making session with Beth and Steph from our staff team. Everyone enjoyed baking, decorating and then eating!

Deb is one in a million who has worked tirelessly to improve health & wellbeing of the most vulnerable people in Liverpool. Over the last 3 decades she has brought primary care directly into homelessness support settings through dedicated outreach work, increasing inclusion and access. Homeless services, including our charity, could not have developed or delivered the services it offers today without Deb’s leadership and continued involvement.

Go Deb!! πŸ’›

🌞🌞🌞We're expecting more warm weather and our stocks of suncream and bottled water are very low. Please help us replenish our stocks and drop off a donation to our warehouse, or even order a box of these to be delivered -

We'd also appreciate hats, shorts, sliders, deodorant and shampoo.

Thank you! 🌞

Ahead of England's first game in the World Cup this is a timely reminder that when England lose a football game, incidents of domestic violence increase by 38% and (even more shockingly) by 26% when they win.

Our Steps to Sanctuary team work with people who are experiencing, or at risk of domestic abuse, who want to stay safely in their own home. If you, or someone you know, needs help, please get in touch.

Many thanks to Leyla and Richie from World Museum for allowing the New Beginnings photography group behind the scenes access and for giving their time to share areas not usually open to the public. This made our visit feel very special.

Thank you to Father McCoy at SFX Church Liverpool, our neighbours in Langsdale Street, for spending time with one of the people we work, talking about his grief after losing his partner recently. The conversation was a great comfort and helped him understand how to carry on living and moving forward πŸ™
