Part 4- Penenden Heath downstairs reno-
The kitchen, diner and snug were to be decked out for underfloor heating and the client decided they wanted the rest of the downstairs heated also. Using the system in 2 large areas, Always making sure the fuse board has capacity! Will be controlled by smart thermostats. All then covered by at least 10mm latex as we are installing LVT and that needs to be suitable also for underfloor heating.

Part 2 of this Penenden Heath project for an awesome client! Continuing to rip-out and first-fix with some outside preparation and installation of a new keystone lintel. Keystone were super helpful in a specific specification due to a small cavity. Previous door installer did not alert my client of the sub-standard support and whilst there were additional costs, it is always best to make the right decision. Part 3 coming soon!

Walk-in shower room 💖 Well, for Mum it will be wheelchair accessible and easier for Dad in the future with a lower sink and higher toilet pan. Mum’s smile after her first shower was worth all the effort! The floor isn’t the norm for a domestic setting, but is ideal for being non-slip and hard wearing. More expensive than a LVT or tiles but worth it. Also, so many various floor colours and types to choose from. I am seeing so much more of this in settings where there is heavy footfall. Will add accessories when the space is tested. We can achieve this for you or family who require easy access or have mobility needs. Thanks to John, , Jack, Kristian, Danny and suppliers-

After some of the most difficult months personally, we have finally got round to sorting out my parents walk in shower room. Demolition video that just shows how much infrastructure and planning is needed for even the smaller spaces. Including re-working all the under-floor pipework/soil for new toilet position and drainage, overhaul electrics and adding a heating element to the radiator, extract fan, new positions for all plumbing, new switching, re-board ceiling after adding insulation, plastering and getting ready for a hospital grade floor. We’ve moved door over and added new lintel above to make it easier for wheelchair and making it better for Dad in the future. Finished video soon!

I miss the days of having an apprentice! Well, .fit.uk would argue slave labour! 13 years to the day how time flies 😩 This was one of our properties we extended and refurbished in Allington. We have done a few ‘cox’ style houses and love doing them. Such versatile houses to create large dormer extensions on the first floor. Will create some posts showing our past cox houses soon!

Gorgeous Emerald Green scallop mosaics from for the main bathroom which will have a Victorian theme made up of fittings. Coupled with the whole house being decked out in Slaked Lime 105 paint. Going to look fantastic with an 1800 freestanding bath. Fittings and fixtures supplied by and can not wait to get it all installed. 💥💥
