🌱 TURFING SEASON IS HERE! 🌱

We’re out laying fresh turf today and, honestly… there’s something VERY satisfying about turning a sad, tired-looking garden into a lush green lawn. 😍

September & October are pretty much the VIP months for turfing in the UK 🇬🇧 — the soil is still warm, the temperatures are cooler and Mother Nature usually does a decent chunk of the watering for us! ☔️😂

❌ Just one small warning… if your garden currently resembles a swimming pool, a skating rink or the Sahara Desert, it might not be the ideal time! 😂

We’ve got a couple of spaces available throughout September & October for turfing and lawn relays.

But before we go… we want to know:

😂 Right… I suppose I’d better admit it!

Apparently, if you run a grounds & property maintenance business, you’re supposed to keep your own garden looking perfect too… 🤦‍♂️

Well, here’s the proof that I clearly don’t follow my own rules! 😂👇

This is my own fence panel at home — and yes, I’m fully aware it’s looking a little (a lot) worse for wear!

My wife has been asking me to replace the fence panels for quite some time now… and every time I say “I’ll get round to it.” 😬

The problem is, with work bookings keeping me busy, the jobs for everyone else always seem to come first. And before you know it, your own jobs have been sitting on the to-do list for months!

You know the saying “the shoemaker’s children go barefoot”?

Well, in my case, the garden maintenance man has a fence that needs maintaining! 🤣 Tradies can you relate?

So, if your fence is looking a bit like mine, don’t make the same mistake I have — get it sorted before it gets this bad! 😂
