So, After our previous post here are some images from the Jubilee Walk which can be started from Leaderfoot bridges.
It is 8km approx with nearly 200m of undulating elevation. It is a lovely walk.

Here, in the Scottish Borders we are truly blessed with some fabulous walks suitable for all skill levels but all with stunning views.

Did you know the Scottish Borders is blessed with some amazing history & beautiful walks?…
And here are a few photos from yesterday when Callum, took a walk round by Bemersyde - where Earl Haig lived.
Plus, May is one of the best time to go on this walk if you like flowers, as the Bluebells and Wild Garlic are both in flower.
This walk is a 5km circular walk that can start from the Wallace statue which is only a 10 minute drive from the cottages.

Having nipped out to do some deer spotting & not seeing any I decided to take a nice view of the scenery & moon only to be upstaged & distracted by a deer & the other wildlife!! What a night, moon & view!

What a view & fabulous day it has been up at Black Hill (situated near our cottages).
Plus the forecast for the next few days is looking wonderful & absolutely perfect for a stay in one of our 5 fantastic self-catering cottages… 🌞or a nice walk around the Scottish Borders/ the local countryside.
