Very rarely do we get told that we are too expensive so I thought I’d break down the pricing that I quoted for one job, this is for a wardrobe from NE32 to NE5, a distance of 12 miles(not including the drive there)

Minimum wage for 2 person lift is £12.71 each
Fuel £5.40
Insurance £4.00
Protective wrap £2.00
Carrying straps £2.00
Which totals £38.82 which i have rounded up to £40.
If you’re paying pennies for someone to move your items then you really are risking damage or loss, you may not choose us but at least choose someone reputable.

Recently as a small business we’ve had moves on where the customer hasn’t been entirely honest with us and has added extra items despite our contract saying this could involve extra charges.
We’ve wavered the charges recently as we want to work with people and make the move as less stressful as possible.
Going forward we still want to provide an excellent cost efficient service but we will start to bring in these charges.
We’ve even had customers offer to pay extra then not bother when we’ve done the work, this isn’t meant as a rant we just want people to see how we believe we should operate our business.

We keep seeing posts across all groups of so called ‘van men’ letting people down,destroying belongings and charging way too much.
Our reviews are honest customers(we haven’t bought reviews).
Even if you don’t use us we’ll give you a competitive quote to compare to others but remember if you pay cheap you pay twice in some cases.

Very rarely do we get a postponement for a job but solicitors being what they are have delayed our customers move for this Wednesday….
So we have the whole day to help anyone who needs us, it really is fastest finger first..

We can still take provisional bookings and we are trying to fit smaller moves in between pre bookings.
