Another week of property data is in, and there are some interesting numbers for anyone thinking about buying or selling in Wales.

Homes sold STC came in at 1,046, while 1,302 new properties entered the market.

House prices are now 33.3% higher than in 2019 and 1.5% higher than 2025, with the average asking price currently sitting at £285,919.

The chance of selling in Wales is 59.04%, above the national average of 55.5%. However, properties are taking a little longer to move, with an average of 88 days to sell, compared with 75 days nationally.

What does that mean if you’re thinking of selling? Pricing and presentation matter. Getting your property positioned correctly from day one can make all the difference between sitting on the market and getting that SOLD STC board up.
