The calm before the storm hits on Bank Holiday Monday 😌

A lovely morning spent at Watermill Cottage getting everything ready for today’s week-long arrival. The cottage was left spotless by previous guests, so I used the extra time to freshen up the inside & outside windows and wipe down the garden furniture so guests can arrive and enjoy the sunshine straight away ☀️

We aim to make every visit worthwhile - not just looking after the inside, but the outside too. It’s the extra touches and little bits of initiative that help keep everything guest-ready, while giving owners peace of mind that their property is being genuinely cared for 💛

Today was all about those little extras 🫶🏻

Bathrooms had a good scrub, cupboards were reorganised, and I got to try out method products new bathroom cleaner that I got my hands on (the G.O.A.T, by the way) - the results really do show it 🫧

I always try to do those extra bits each changeover when I can, just to stay on top of everything and make sure owners feel they’re getting real value for their money.

It’s so important to us that owners and holiday let management companies feel confident their properties are in safe hands, and that guests walk into a space that feels cared for and held to a high standard 💛

Ever since meeting the lovely owners, I’d been itching to get started. It was such a delight to give this cosy holiday let the care it deserved while admiring all the beautiful interiors along the way.

I love that they offer bespoke packages for holiday lets too, making it easy for property owners to add those thoughtful little touches that make guests feel truly welcomed - and we’ve got some exciting plans together still to come soon 💛

I can’t wait to test all the spray scents across our properties - with some already getting to enjoy them today! From diffusers to large refills of hand soap and lotion, it’s all about creating a memorable experience from the moment guests walk through the door 🏠

I always enjoy coming to Old Salt Cottage and taking care of the little details - properly tucked pillowcases, neatly organised kitchen essentials, and making sure everything feels just right.

I also finally got to try a new stainless steel cleaner by method products, and I loved how effortlessly it left such a lovely finish ✨
