You spoke, we listened!

As part of our Tenant Satisfaction Measures survey, residents shared valuable feedback about their experiences living in GCHA homes and communities.

Residents told us that they value:

*Friendly and supportive staff
*Feeling safe in their homes
*Improvements to communication
*Responsive services

We also heard where residents would like us to do better, including communication updates, repairs and keeping residents informed.

As part of the survey carried out in September 2025, residents who completed the survey were entered into a prize draw to win shopping vouchers.

Congratulations to our winning residents from Margaret Barr Row, Thanet House and Cobham Terrace, who received prizes of £100 and £50 vouchers.

Thank you again to everyone who took part and shared their feedback; it helps us improve the services we provide every day.

With the warmer weather continuing, here are a few simple ways to stay cool, comfortable and safe this summer:

💧 Keep hydrated throughout the day
🍉 Enjoy water-rich snacks like fruit and ice lollies
🪟 Keep blinds or curtains closed in sunny rooms
🌙 Let cooler air in during the evening if safe to do so
🧢 Take breaks in the shade and wear sun cream outdoors

Warmer weather = more pests!

As temperatures rise, bins and outdoor areas can quickly attract unwanted visitors, making it even more important to stay on top of things.

Help keep them away with a few simple steps:

*Keep bin lids tightly closed

*Clean bins regularly

*Don’t leave food waste exposed

*Keep the area around bins tidy

A few small habits can go a long way in keeping pests out and your surroundings clean

What are Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSMs)?

TSMs are a set of measures introduced by the Regulator of Social Housing to help residents understand how well their landlord is performing.

They cover things that matter most to residents, including:

*Repairs and maintenance
*Communication and customer service
*Keeping homes safe and well-maintained
*Listening to residents’ views
*Looking after neighbourhoods and communal areas

Every year, we ask residents to share their experiences so we can understand what we’re doing well and where we need to improve.
