My investor is excited.

Yesterday we sat down and reviewed the goings on at my new development project, a class Q barn conversion.

There was a time, when I was starting my journey into development and my business was brand new where this felt utterly intangible. I couldn’t see why anyone would choose to invest in me, or how I would find someone who might. It felt like a huge hurdle to getting started.

It came after I got out of my own way and put myself out there. I contributed to deal reviews, I talked about my business, I went networking and tried to add value. If I’m invited to speak, I share my story. In fact, it was a keynote presentation at a networking event which found me the person I met yesterday.

My property development company is New Light Property. Through my design lens I repurpose existing old commercial buildings into residential use. I love to see them coming back to life and forming little communities again.

My latest project is a barn conversion using Class Q permitted development rights which will make a number of beautiful family homes in the Hampshire countryside.

This project will be opened up for a select number of people to come in ‘behind the build’ to observe the goings on in a real life project. Perfect for those who are starting out and don’t feel ready to take the leap year. Or for private investors to watch how we work.

At the moment I have limited spaces for new developers and property renovators to work with me 1:1 to build their confidence and process to help them find the prefect investor to support their business. No Dragons Den pitching here!! We work on relationships as the foundation. You can find a booking link in my bio if this is something you need help with.
