☀️ Why is summer the best time for property inspections?

With longer days, better weather and easier access to outdoor areas, summer is the ideal time to assess your property's condition and identify any maintenance issues before they become costly repairs.

A summer inspection can help spot:

✔️ Exterior wear and tear
✔️ Damaged fences and boundaries
✔️ Gutter and drainage issues
✔️ Ventilation concerns
✔️ General maintenance requirements

Taking a proactive approach now can help protect your investment and ensure your property is ready for the months ahead 🏡

This is a message for all landlords...
Are you ready for May 31st?

Under the Renters’ Rights Act in England, the major deadline falling on May 31st applies specifically to landlords, who must legally provide their tenants with the official Renters' Rights Act Information Sheet, 2026.

This information must be printed and delivered to all tenants before the deadline date. Alternatively, an email or text message can be sent out, but it must be the official PDF documents only. Website links or altered versions will not be valid.

Missing this deadline can lead to civil fines of up to £7,000 for a first offence, and up to £40,000 for subsequent offences.

If you have any questions about these requirements, or any changes regarding the Renters' Rights Act, please do not hesitate to contact us, we are more than happy to help.

At Twin Property Group, we know the terms property management and block management are often used interchangeably, but they actually cover very different responsibilities.

🏢 Block Management focuses on shared residential buildings and communal spaces. This includes things like service charges, health & safety compliance, maintenance of communal areas, and coordinating repairs for the building as a whole.

🏠 Property Management focuses on individual rental properties and the day-to-day management between landlords and tenants, from rent collection and inspections to maintenance coordination and communication.

Both are essential for keeping properties running smoothly, but each requires a different approach, different systems, and different expertise.

Whether you’re a landlord, leaseholder, resident management company, or freeholder, understanding the difference can help you choose the right support for your property needs.

🏡 Thanet has seen rents climb to £1,107 PCM, up 6.7% year on year.
🏡 Maidstone continues to show steady rental growth, driven by consistent tenant demand.
