Well, England certainly showed last night that strategy matters.
The first half wasn't quite going to plan, but credit where it's due changes were made, the approach adapted, and the result spoke for itself.
It actually reminds me a lot of selling a home.
Sometimes a property comes to the market with the wrong strategy.
Perhaps it's overpriced.
Perhaps the marketing isn't creating enough interest.
Perhaps it's simply not being exposed to the right buyers.
The mistake isn't getting it wrong initially.
The mistake is continuing with a strategy that clearly isn't working.
The most successful outcomes often come from recognising the need to adapt, making the right changes and moving forward with a clear plan.
In football and in property, standing still rarely changes the result.
The right strategy, applied at the right time, can make all the difference.
If you're currently on the market, considering a move, or simply wondering whether your property is being marketed in the best possible way, I'd be happy to have a no-obligation conversation.
