🌞 Keeping Everyone Cool Today! 💧

With temperatures expected to soar above 30°C today, we've set up a Hydration Station in our main foyer to help everyone stay cool, comfortable, and hydrated.

Please feel free to help yourself to free chilled water throughout the day. Whether you're a customer, visitor, volunteer, or colleague, staying hydrated is one of the most important ways to stay safe in hot weather.

If you're feeling the heat, don't forget that our air-conditioned communal spaces are also available for you to relax and cool down.

Let's look after ourselves and each other during the warm weather.

We celebrated father's day in style, at Berryhill Village, we had the fabulous Julie Scott to entertain us, burgers and hotdogs, a raffle, and plenty of singing and dancing

🍍🌺Aloha from Berryhill Village!🌺🍍
​The sun might not always be splitting the trees outside, but we brought the ultimate tropical paradise right here to Berryhill Village for our spectacular Hawaiian Beach Party! From vibrant grass skirts to the sweet taste of the tropics, our Village Hall was completely transformed into an island getaway.

​Here is a look back at a truly unforgettable day of laughter, games, and great company:

​📸Island Style & Photo Fun​📸
​Our residents and staff completely understood the assignment when it came to the dress code! Colorful floral shirts, bright leis, and straw hats were spotted everywhere you looked.

​We set up a special Hawaiian beach backdrop for some hilarious photo ops. Residents loved stepping behind the banner to pose as hula dancers and surfers, bringing tons of laughs to the lounge—just check out the smiles.

​🎯Festive Games & Activities​🎯
​What's a beach party without a little friendly competition? We kept the energy high with some classic party games with a tropical twist:
• ​The Cactus Ring Toss: Our residents lined up to try their luck tossing rings onto giant inflatable cacti, flanked by fresh pineapples, showcasing some impressive aiming skills.
• ​Hook-a-Duck: A crowd-favorite inflatable pool station was set up on the tables, decorated with bright tropical tablecloths. Everyone had a brilliant time trying to hook the yellow ducks.

​🍕Tropical Treats & Drinks​🍕
​All that hula dancing and gaming definitely worked up an appetite! Our tables were decked out with blue and white floral garlands, where residents enjoyed delicious personal pizzas and refreshing platters filled with fresh kiwi, strawberries, melon, grapes, and deli meats as seen.

​A massive thank you to our incredible volunteers and staff who dressed up, decorated the village, and made sure everyone had a cocktail or lei in hand.

🐾 Great news for Berryhill Village dog walkers! 🐾

​We are happy to share that a brand-new dog waste bin has officially been installed to help keep our beautiful village clean and tidy!

​You can find the new bright red "Dog Waste Only" bin conveniently mounted on the lamppost right where the paved path meets the circle at the bottom of our garden. It’s perfectly situated next to the greenery to grab your eye on your daily strolls.

​Let’s all do our part to keep Berryhill Village beautiful. Please make sure to bag it, bin it, and keep our paths clear for everyone to enjoy! 🐕💩👍

​Get ready for an incredible day and evening of pride, celebration, great entertainment, delicious food, and amazing live music right here at the village! We are pulling out all the stops for our Pride Party 2026, and you won't want to miss a single minute of it. 🎉✨

​⭐ 2:00 PM – Trixie starts the show! Expect fabulous energy to kick off our celebrations.

• 151 resident attendances across our activities programme
• Our most popular activity was the Wednesday Evening Quiz 🎉
• The least attended activity was Arts & Crafts

🍽️ Restaurant & Bar
• 36 residents dined in our restaurant
• 138 visits were made to the Berryhill Bar
(Please note that these figures are lower than expected as not all data was captured during May.)
