This weekend sees the transformation of this basement flat terrace into something special. The power washer is ready, and the easy-fit decking was an Amazon bargain — half price, “used like new.” Top tip: that usually just means the packaging might be damaged, so it’s well worth keeping an eye out for those deals. We’ve had to cancel photos three times now for the most exciting barn conversion, and I am officially putting in a request for sunshine on Monday, please!

I had a challenge presenting this one… because The Old Cider Mill is absolutely no ordinary house. 🍎🏡

It’s a cottage.
It’s a barn.
It’s a former cider mill.

It’s got an archway, a courtyard, beams, flagstones, history, mystery, gardens, potential, and the sort of character that will have you reaching for a hard hat and a heritage paint chart. 🎨🔨

Honestly, trying to explain it in one video was like trying to describe a period drama, a restoration project and a countryside daydream all at once. 🌿✨

But I gave it my best shot.
