🚨 Reminder for Landlords – Major Law Changes Start Tomorrow (1 May) 🚨

The Renters’ Rights Act comes into force tomorrow, bringing some of the biggest changes the private rental sector has seen in years. If you’re a landlord in England, now is the time to make sure you’re prepared.

📌 Important Reminder: If you have an existing assured or assured shorthold tenancy created before 1 May 2026 with written terms, you must serve the official Renters’ Rights Act Information Sheet 2026 to every named tenant by 31 May 2026. Failure to do so could lead to penalties of up to £7,000.

📌 Key changes from tomorrow include:• End of Section 21 “no fault” evictions• Move to periodic tenancies• New rent increase rules• Stronger tenant rights and protections

If you’re unsure what applies to your property portfolio, now is the time to get proper advice and stay compliant.
