🐀RAT TRAPPED FOR LESS THAN AN HOUR. LOOK AT THE DAMAGE! 👀

This damage is from a rat that was stuck in a room for less than 15minutes 🤯 the amount of damage a rat can do in such a short space of time is crazy 🤯

🐝 OVER £100 PAID — AND THE WASP NEST WAS NEVER EVEN TREATED!

I attended a property in Hazelrigg today where the client had already paid over £100 to another so-called pest control company based in Newcastle to deal with an active wasp nest.

So what had they done for that money?

They had used a hoover and expanding foam to treat an active wasp nest 🤦🏻‍♂️. An absolute shambles of a company !!

The actual wasp nest hadn't been treated at all and the other company had blocked them from calling and getting a second treatment!!

Obviously when I arrived the wasps were still very much active.

In my view, the client had been completely ripped off. After seeing what they had already paid and what had been done, there was no way I could bring myself to charge them again.

So I carried out the proper professional wasp nest treatment completely FREE OF CHARGE.

Customers put their trust in pest control companies to solve a problem safely and professionally — they shouldn't have to pay twice because the job wasn't done properly the first time by a cowboy company.

Emergency call this morning for a wasp nest that had been found in a shed and the wasps had stung the owner multiple times 10+ these wasps were highly aggressive and were bouncing of my wasp suit 20 yards away after I opened the door .
The nest was treat quickly and professionally using the correct insecticide and wearing the correct ppe to prevent stings, the nest then removed and all dead wasps were also removed all within 1 hour of the phonecall.
The owner can now (after they have gotten over the stings) clean out the shed and get to the lawnmower.

🐀 THIS IS WHY PROFESSIONAL TRAPPING MATTERS…

Imagine if a rat this size hadn’t been caught in a secure professional trap and had instead died somewhere inaccessible — inside a cavity wall, beneath a bath, under the floorboards or deep within a loft.

Carried out a visit to a property in North Tyneside this morning for rats and this is what I found !! 😬 The rats had been climbing up the fence and chewing thru to access the line up of waste bins to access the food and waste within. I've moved the bins and set up a trapping programme to deal with the heavy infestation.

First job of the day and rats have chewed straight thru a floor board to gain access into a kitchen to get to dog food. A full external and internal survey is being carried out and a trapping programme will be put in place . This will be resolved within the alloted visits.

🐀 THIS IS WHY I RARELY USE POISON…

The photo below shows a dead rat lying outside on a set of stairs.

Now imagine a dog, cat, fox or bird of prey finding and eating it.

When rodenticide is used, there can be a risk of secondary poisoning to non-target animals and wildlife if they consume poisoned rodents. That’s one of the reasons I don’t simply turn up and put poison down.

At Tyneside Pest Control, I follow an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach.

That means I concentrate on finding WHY the rats are there and how they're gaining access, rather than relying on poison alone.
