🚨 WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT - REVISED PLANS EXPECTED 🚨
📍 The proposed development on Green Belt land at the edge of Wilmslow has already faced serious objections.
🚩 The Environment Agency and Cheshire East’s Lead Local Flood Authority rejected the submitted plans due to an inadequate Flood Risk Assessment. That is a major red flag.
🌧️ Residents’ homes and local businesses have already experienced flooding — real people dealing with real damage, disruption and fear every time heavy rain hits.
📑 Our independent consultants — who we intend to instruct again — also identified multiple additional areas of concern within the proposal, strengthening the case against it.
⏳ We are now told revised plans are likely to be submitted imminently, with the committee date unchanged. That leaves very little time to respond.
💰 Developers can spend large sums on technical reports to persuade planners. As a community, the only way we can properly challenge those claims is by funding independent expert review.
