Two Athens bathrooms, same question, opposite answers.

The clinic wanted a seamless surface and got porcelain. The apartment wanted a limestone look and got porcelain too. Neither because tile is better. Because in one case the substrate wasn't true, and in the other the calendar didn't fit. Both briefs were met.

Timeline, budget, scope. You fix two, the third moves. In a bathroom the finish is almost always the piece that moves, and that's the mechanism working correctly rather than a compromise.
