Since the 1960s, this forest home has been a family vineyard, wine cellar, and holiday house with its own domestic wine production. From 2020 to 2024, Casa Vinea underwent a complete renovation and is now ready to welcome up to six guests (4 adults and 2 chil
dren) looking to relax in peaceful, natural surroundings. Although the vineyard and wine cellar are no longer active, the name “Casa Vinea” honors its family heritage and connection to winemaking. Located just 4.5 km from the center of Karlovac, Casa Vinea sits in seclusion, right next to a beautiful forest of chestnut and pine trees. Guests can enjoy a private jacuzzi with a solar outdoor shower and a charming pavilion with seating and views of the forest and Mount Vinica. There's also a brick grill and rotisserie with BBQ tools, plus a handcrafted solid wood dining table and benches under a covered outdoor dining area. Free, covered parking is available on the property. The spacious 120 m² house has two fully equipped floors designed for a comfortable and luxurious stay:
+ Ground Floor - A modern kitchen with pantry, a large dining area with a fireplace, and a guest toilet.
+ First Floor - A cozy living room with a plush sofa bed and TV, a work corner with a desk, a bedroom with a double bed and balcony overlooking Mount Vinica, and a bathroom with a shower. Above the bedroom, there’s a fun loft with a sleeping mattress – perfect for kids. The kitchen includes everything you need: cooking hob, oven, sink, washing machine, kettle, coffee maker, dishes, utensils, and tea towels. The dining room seats 8 and is fully equipped with plates, cutlery, glasses, and wine glasses. Sleeping arrangements include a luxurious double bed in the bedroom, a fold-out sofa in the living room, and a mattress for two children in the loft. Bed linen is provided for all beds. You’ll also find a wardrobe, dresser, and a bathroom stocked with towels and toiletries. For comfort in all seasons, Casa Vinea offers air conditioning (heating/cooling), radiators in key rooms, and a wood-burning stove in the dining room. Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. For those seeking adventure, Casa Vinea’s location is ideal for hiking, mountain biking, climbing, motocross, as well as water activities like swimming, diving, fishing, canoeing, and rafting. The beautiful Mrežnica River is just a 5-minute drive away and offers plenty of beaches and waterfalls. Nearby amenities (all within 15 minutes) include grocery stores, restaurants, a train station, and a general hospital. The popular river beach “Kamp Slapić” is 10 km away, and Plitvice Lakes National Park is just 75 km from the property. Zagreb’s Franjo Tuđman Airport is 70 km away.
