He is a holder of a Higher National Diploma from the Technical University, Nairobi, Also post graduate in Diploma Building and Construction Kisumu Polytechnic. His primary responsibilities include the following:
• Coordination of construction activities in liaison with the technical director
o Coordinate construction tasks according to priorities and plans. o Produce schedules
and monitor work progress. o Ensure manpower and resources are adequate
• Supervision of staff
o Directly supervise casual laborer. o Participate in the recruitment of construction staff.
• Reporting
o Prepares daily, weekly and monthly construction reports. o Develops yearly construction report. o Participate in the evaluation of shelter activities. Africa has the highest fire incidences in terms of frequency and total losses. Therefore new facilities and
renovation projects need to be designed to incorporate efficient, cost-effective passive and automatic
