⚖️ COURT RULING: LAND BUYERS CAN RECOVER THEIR MONEY AFTER FRAUDULENT DEALS COLLAPSE

Bought land, paid a deposit, only for the deal to collapse because of fraud?

A recent ruling by Kenya’s Environment and Land Court in Kisumu has highlighted that buyers affected by fraudulent land transactions may be able to recover their deposit and direct expenses, depending on the circumstances of the case.

But here’s the bigger lesson

DON’T WAIT FOR COURT TO PROTECT YOUR MONEY.

Before buying land:
✅ Conduct an official land search
✅ Verify the seller’s ownership
✅ Confirm boundaries and access
✅ Check for restrictions and encumbrances
✅ Have proper sale agreements
✅ Seek professional legal advice where necessary

It’s been 8 years in the Real Estate business — not quite a teenager yet, but certainly no longer an amateur either. 😄

I’d say I’m almost a pr***en, and in those 8 years, I’ve made strides that I once thought were only possible for the pros.

Through failures, learning, consistency, and diligence.
