本地房产大哥ECOWORLD日前宣布,旗下独资工业园将会出售一片价值RM280m的地皮给一家超大规模的数据中心运营商,作为日后建设数据中心用途

自从该工业园项目落实后,来自美国几家科技巨头分别在该区设立数据中心,作为在东南亚的计算据点,充分体现这块工业地区的地理优势,当中一家巨头是大家都认识的MICROSOFT,不久前才传出加码落实超巨型数据中心,想必和这次的交易有一定关联

还记得在数据中心主题首次爆发时,第一批被炒到乱的就是这些房产集团,印象最深的就是UEMS,因为出售地皮给数据中心运营商后股价翻了几倍,为后期投资者追捧房产股开启按钮,只要有关联的一律起飞🛫

不过因为合作计划有变,UEMS进入超长的盘整状态,其他同行也陆续回调下来,就算数据中心主题进入新的成长周期,例如前阵子释放38亿价值的合约,并没有刺激房产领域上涨,反而在这波行情明显受惠的是电机与地下工程领域

所以一次性和持续性的收益,还是有差别,长远来看市场更倾向于能够长期获益的公司,肯定的是大马数据中心主题还在积极发挥中,无论政府还是外企都十分积极扩展数据中心,以应付AI需求的增长
