Nearly 20 years after his death, the body of Ugandan musician Paul Job Kafeero was dug up from the grave for DNA testing to determine which of the 25 children he had were biologically his.

The legendary Ugandan musician died in 2007 at the age of 36.

For nearly 20 years, his 25 children and their mothers fought over his multi-billion Ugandan shilling estate, including land, houses, and music royalties.

The long standing dispute eventually led the court to order that his body be dug up and his bone and tissue samples were collected for DNA tests.

1st June 2026, it was dug up for test and 25th June 2026, the results were released.

Only 4 out of his 25 children were confirmed to be his biological children. The other 21 children were not his.

Earlier today, I had the privilege of approving N460,000 each as Call to Bar Ceremony Grant for our sons and daughters from Abua/Odual who recently passed the final examinations of the Nigerian Law School.

This approval is in response to their request for support towards the procurement of the mandatory Wig and Gown and other essential requirements for their Call to Bar ceremony.

From the very beginning of my administration, I made a commitment that Abua/Odual money must work for Abua/Odual people. That commitment continues to guide every decision we make.

It is on record that throughout their one-year programme at the Nigerian Law School, these brilliant students received ₦300,000 quarterly educational grants from the Abua/Odual Local Government. Today, by approving these Call to Bar Ceremony Grant, we are once again demonstrating that our support for education does not end in the classroom: we remain committed to seeing our young people succeed until they attain their professional dreams.

I heartily congratulate our latest law school graduates on this outstanding achievement. Your hard work, resilience, and determination have paid off. As you prepare to be called to the Nigerian Bar, I encourage you to uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and service to humanity.

I have every confidence that you will make Abua/Odual proud and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of our Local Government, Rivers State, and our dear nation.

Dele Farotimi: Some men would have gone to their graves with honour if not for Tinubu

I thank God for Tinubu.
If not for Tinubu I wouldn't have known the things I know today.

Some people I thought were gods have been reduced to mere men. How would we have known that the judiciary is useless if not for Tinubu?
Men who used to talk about citizenship, freedom, electoral rights, it all doesn't matter to them.
Some men would have gone to their graves with honour if it wasn't for Tinubu.
Do you know how many people Tinubu has turned naked?

If Tinubu were to be a man whose evil were ambiguous , if it was possible to say maybe he's not bad, it would have been very easy for them to continue to pontificate and sounding like men of God but for the fact that the man is so unrepentantly and clearly evil and they have found accomodation for him and they are the ones excusing the evil, explaining the evil and looking to normalize the evil. We can only thank Tinubu"
