GAS PLANT FOR SALE in PH
A Gas Plant registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission, with mandate to produce Nitrogen and Oxygen, both in gaseous and liquid form that can be used for commercial and medical purposes, is up for sale.
LOCATION:
In the heart of the industrial hub of Port Harcourt, Trans-Amadi, Rivers State.
ACCOMPANYING FACILITIES:
i). Domiciled on a 4 plots piece of land
ii). A 4-room administrative office block, inclusive of a convenience and security post. This administrative block, has the foundation that has the capacity to carry a 2-storey building when fully completed. Only the ground floor is in use now. But when full completed, the 1st and 2nd floors would also have 4-rooms each, with their conveniences.
iii). Also on the facility is a Cryogenic Tank, with a storage capacity of 2,000 gallons used for storage and dispatch of both liquid Nitrogen and Oxygen.
iv). A changing room with 2 toilets and 2 bathrooms.
PRODUCTION CAPACITY:
Two major inputs/materials for the production of these gases are Atmospheric Air, which is trapped through a compressor to the chamber and Constant Power Supply, which is gotten from public electricity or a power generating set. Average production capacity is 250 cubic meters per hour, but also has expansion capacity of 500 cubic meters per hour.
PLANT PRODUCTS AND USE:
Products from the plant are Nitrogen and Oxygen, both in gaseous and liquid forms and they can be used for the following:
NITROGEN:
1. Nitrogen (in both gaseous and liquid forms) is used for purging/flushing and cleaning of oil pipes of different sizes and dimensions.
2. Used as coolant in both offshore and onshore rigs, refineries, breweries and other industrial plants.
3. Also used as preservative in breweries and other beverage plants.
OXYGEN:
1. Oxygen is used in the heating of metal structures and in melting, redesigning and reshaping of metals generally.
2. Used for both small and large scale industrial fabrication of metals and even underwater welding in offshore locations.
3. Also used for the cutting of thick metals when subjected to very high temperature.
4. Medically, it can be used in hospitals and health center for surgeries and patients with conditions that require oxygen to breathe.
5. When mixed with Helium, Oxygen can be used for deep diving activities in the oil and gas sector.

2. Rivers State: Chevron Oil Producing Company Escravos/Aladja Steel Complex, Delta State

5. Huge market abound for the products especially in Oil and Gas industries, Teaching Hospitals and the health sector generally. Products are also exportable to countries like in Ghana, Togo, Cote D'ivoire, Benin Republic etc...

The plant has been out of production for about three years now, simply because of the inability of management to access loan for upgrade, due to certain stringent conditions attached to loan procurement processes by the Bank Of Industry.
