August brought an interesting shift in the Auckland housing market, with prices holding firm as winter came to an end, an unusual trend that could signal a change ahead.

🏡 $955,000 median sales price, up 1.6% from June
📈 $1,098,487 average sales price, up 1.6% year-on-year
🔑 787 properties sold during August

The Reserve Bank of New Zealand has increased the Official Cash Rate by 0.25%, bringing it to 2.75%.
