Winter is here. So is our inspection report.

Often, the homes we walk into this time of year belongs to one of four houses. House Overflow: gutters that gave up back in April. House Woodfire: an unconsented burner running like it's above the law. House Condensation: windows that haven't seen clear glass since June. House Subfloor: harbouring more tenants than the lease allows.

"That stain's from years ago, it's dry now." (It is not dry. It is never dry. It just wants you to think that.)

"We've never had an issue with it." (Correct. Because nobody's ever looked. That's what we're here for.)
