This hashtag we're back on site at Fisher Property Ltd on Sir Gil Simpson Drive.

This building will be home to premium, high spec office space for both our team and Monkeytoe Group, with a great outlook over Russley Golf Course once complete.

To date, the project is progressing on time and to budget. The exterior cladding is now complete, and the internal fit-out is progressing well across both levels. Externally, yard prep is underway ahead of the concrete path, with deck board installation starting next week.

Thanks to all our hard working subcontractors who are working hard to get this project wrapped up and completed in the following weeks to come.

Another big year at the Zespri International AIMS Games for Pyes Pa School, and we were proud to back them again as their sponsor.

The Zespri AIMS Games is New Zealand's biggest school sports event, bringing together Year 7 and 8 students from schools across the country and overseas to compete against each other in a wide range of sports. This year's Games were the biggest yet, with over 14,500 athletes from 467 schools competing across 27 different sports in Tauranga.

Pyes Pā also picked up the Kaitiaki Trophy this year, recognising their contribution to the community. Students wrote letters welcoming visiting schools to Tauranga, with tips on local food spots and things to do around the Bay.

We also had our BBQ trailer down at the Games, serving up food for the community. Big thanks to Matt Jackson for taking it along!

Every individual within the Tuatara team plays a key role in delivering projects on time and on budget for our clients. This week we are spotlighting Christyn Englefield and celebrating his two-year anniversary with Tuatara Structures.

As our Commercial Manager, Chris has played a key role in managing financial and contractual factors across projects, maintaining cost control, and ensuring compliance with our contractual obligations. He works closely with our client solutions team, subcontractors and suppliers to continue delivering value across every project.

Chris’s attention to detail, passion and commitment make him a valued and appreciated member of the team. Here's to two years!

We are pleased to share an update on the Marshs Road development, a five building industrial project we are delivering for a trusted repeat client in Christchurch.

Over the past few months, we have been busy working across all five buildings, each moving through its own stage of construction. Foundations and structural steel have gone in across the site, and warehouse roofing and cladding are taking shape on some buildings.

This development is set to come to the tenant market in the coming months. If you are looking for high quality warehouse and office space in a well connected location, get in touch with Sam Staite or your preferred real estate agent.

Our team is growing!

We are delighted to welcome Wietz van der Westhuizen to the Tuatara team.

Wietz joins us as Principal of Pre-Construction. He will lead our estimating and design function for our projects nationwide, turning early-stage plans into accurate, dependable pricing our clients can build on with confidence. He brings over 11 years of experience in quantity surveying and pre-construction, with a career that's taken him across projects in New Zealand, Qatar and South Africa.

Wietz cares about clear communication as much as accuracy, making sure exclusions, assumptions and risks are explained in plain language, so clients always know exactly what they're getting and why. For him, good pricing isn't just about the number, it's about the thinking behind it. It's exactly the kind of approach we value at Tuatara, and we are glad to have him on board.

This week we are taking you back to Fisher Properties. Located on Sir Gil Simpson Drive, this building will deliver premium, high spec office space for our team at Tuatara and Monkeytoe Group, who will both be tenants in the new space.

Internal fit-out is well underway on both levels, with partitioning, tiling and joinery progressing throughout. The lift and glazing are installed, and ACM cladding is going on outside with joint sealing now underway.

Working with Richard Fisher on this new build has been a real pleasure. We have worked closely together from the early stages to shape a solution that delivers for the site, the future tenants, and the long term vision for the development.
