Humbled.
It's a word I’ve found myself coming back to a lot over the past year, and even more so over the last week as I was recognised as:
• Rising Star (Rookie of the Year) – Harcourts Christchurch,
• Rising Star (Rookie of the Year) – Harcourts Gold (Number 1 Harcourts franchise globally), and
• 19th overall – Harcourts Gold Annual Awards.
It has been a huge year, and I am so humbled by how little I knew coming into this industry, and how much I’ve learned in a short space of time. It's also bloodly humbling how quickly this industry can bring you back to ground - no matter the wins, there’s always another challenge, another lesson, another opportunity to improve.
I've been humbled by the people around me. The guidance, the push, and the belief from my manager and the wider leadership team, and the constant support from agents within the office and across the Harcourts network.
Most of all I have been humbled by the trust from my clients allowing me to be part of some pretty big moments in their lives.
A big thank you to for giving me the space to go all in, back myself, and build something while holding down things at home, raising our kids, and keeping our world moving.
It’s been a year of growth - plenty of highs, lessons, and a few f ups along the way as well, but I wouldn’t change it.
Bring on 2026 and a clear focus on delivering an exceptional client experience, every time.
