π― A few straight-up reasons...
π Match Making
Hearing buyers needs for their perfect home then matching them with a property that ticks all the boxes or helping clients get inspired about purchasing a property that needs minor changes to make it their perfect match.
π Collaborative Conversations
Not every client journey is a one-person decision. Sometimes, it involves up to four people who need to share ideas, different perspectives, and reach an agreement. Many conversations are exciting β first homes, investment properties, or changing the size of a home. But sometimes, selling a property involves loss, relationship breakdowns, or other sensitive circumstances. I value taking the time to listen, show empathy, and tailor my approach to each individual situation. Because every property journey is personal.
π Changing Strategy
Not every home flies off the shelf quickly, especially in areas like Stewart Island, Riverton and rural locations. Thatβs why staying proactive and collaborating with vendors is so important. Whether itβs adjusting the method of sale, price, online marketing, video or the listing script. Small changes can make a big difference. Itβs about reading the market, adapting, and finding the right way to attract the right attention.
π Receiving and presenting offers
There's a lot of autographing and jargon that can go with this process. I enjoy slowing down the process and working through the steps to help all parties feel comfortable with what they are agreeing to. It can be very daunting so allowing time and clarity around this is 100% important from your agent.
π Work Flexibility
Although our work hours are unpredictable and can often be seven days a week or 10pm at night, the flexibility behind running your own business suits me and means I can have time for side projects and spontaneous adventures!
π Multi Offers
That feeling of letting your vendor know they have multiple offers and their property is in high demand is magic!!!
