If house hunting is on your radar, we’d love to see you this Sunday 🤍

Turns out I left my mark on Kāpiti long before real estate 😂

We were wandering through Mahara Place in Waikanae yesterday when I spotted something very familiar on the wall…

These little frogs. 🐸

I made this tile when I was at St Patrick’s Primary School in Paraparaumu, now Our Lady of Kāpiti School, and I genuinely couldn’t believe it was still there 34 years later!

It was such a cool little piece of my childhood to stumble across.

And a big shout-out to Mrs Pilcher, my amazing art teacher at the time, who gave us some pretty incredible opportunities to get creative and leave little pieces of ourselves around Kāpiti. Clearly she helped create a masterpiece that could stand the test of time 😂

There’s something pretty special about growing up here, raising my own family here, working here, and then finding something I made as a kid still sitting on a wall in Waikanae all these years later.

Does anyone else remember making one of these? Or is yours still hiding somewhere on the wall too?

Well Kāpiti, you certainly made this one hard to choose! 💙

There were many amazing nominations for our Morning Tea Shout for World Kindness Day. 💛
So many local people and teams who clearly mean a lot to our community.

One name that kept popping up was Team Medical, with lots of lovely comments about the care their team provides — especially through a very busy flu season.

So, morning tea was on us! 🥐☕️

We headed to Bens Buns bakery nz to pick up the goods and popped in to surprise the team who were so appreciative.

A huge thank you to everyone who entered and took the time to nominate someone deserving. We loved reading them all.

And Team Medical, we hope you enjoyed your morning tea — very well deserved!
