Meet Nicole. She borrowed her dad’s water blaster and spent her Saturday scrubbing down the entire court and wall at Ruakaka Riverside Reserve — no ask required, just saw something that needed doing and got stuck in. That’s what community looks like. 🙌

The court’s clean, the hoops are up… now we just need someone to help paint the lines — hoops, 4 square, and pickleball. If you’re a painter (or know one) who’d like to lend a hand to bring this space back to life, flick us a message. 🏀

I love it when a good plan comes together!! Katie and Chase were unbelievable to work for, lots of robust conversation, soaking and laughter. We were blessed with beautiful winter days to showcase their wonderful Property. And now they’re onto the next chapter! Here’s to plenty more fishing… walking to school… and scooter trips to the dairy! And you may wonder why the John Cena theme tune? Well that’s an inside joke and it’s funnier in person Dylan

You spoke up for this court and council listened. Here’s what’s been approved:

✅ Mural — both sides of the wall - more to come!
✅ Lines repainted — and YOU get to vote on the layout
✅ New hoop and backboard
✅ 3 brand new picnic tables — we choose where they go
⏳ Concrete surface — council have a full upgrade planned in 3 years. The more we use this court, the stronger the case to make it bigger when that time comes.

Now it’s time to get involved for real. We’re planning community events at the court so you can have a say on the mural design and table placement.
