The latest Barfoot & Thompson June 2026 figures show Auckland's property market continuing to stabilise, creating opportunities for both buyers and sellers.

📊 Auckland by the numbers:
• Median sale price: $940,000
• Average sale price: $1.11 million
• 890 properties sold
• 1,458 new listings
• 6,037 properties currently available

With stock levels remaining healthy, buyers continue to enjoy greater choice, while well-presented homes continue to attract strong interest.

What we're seeing locally in Grey Lynn & Ponsonby

These sought-after inner-city suburbs continue to outperform many parts of Auckland, although they're not immune to the broader market conditions.

🏡 Grey Lynn
Grey Lynn remains a favourite for families and professionals, thanks to its character homes, village atmosphere and strong sense of community. Quality, move-in-ready properties continue to perform well, with homes typically selling within 38–53 days. Rental demand also remains strong.

🏡 Ponsonby
Ponsonby continues to be one of Auckland's premier lifestyle suburbs. While buyers have become more discerning, desirable homes in premium locations are still attracting solid interest and generally selling within around 36 days. Rental demand also remains healthy.

That message resonated with us because it reflects a chapter of our own story.

We renovated our home with the dream of selling it and travelling the world. That adventure is still very much on the cards—but life had another exciting chapter waiting for us first.

Last year we created and hosted "Interactive Healing Environments" (IHE) - a community engagement exhibition exploring the connection with yourself through your senses and between people, place and wellbeing. The response was incredibly encouraging and became a catalyst for something we hadn't expected.

It inspired us to combine our complementary backgrounds, experience and shared values into a new profession - Real Estate.

For Andrew, it's more than 30 years of business development, sales and negotiation expertise. For Yvonne, it's a career spanning design, leadership, partnerships, community engagement and a deep appreciation of how people connect with place.

Today, through ***Conscious Living***, we're helping people navigate some of life's biggest decisions with care, insight and purpose.

Launching the Conscious Living logo - The meaning within...

Our logo is more than a visual mark. It is a symbol of the philosophy behind the way we approach property and real estate.

Its familiar 'C' speaks to consciousness, creation, connection and community. Within it is a subtle threefold motif, inspired by the fleur-de-lis and trinity symbolism - representing the relationship between 'People-Place- Planet'.

We believe every property has more than market (monetary) value, as it is a 'Living Environment'.

It has a lived story: the morning light that fills a room, the connection to the land and surrounding environment, the spaces where family and friends gather, the views, the flow, the sense of a sanctuary, and the possibilities still waiting to unfold.
