Life has humbled me in ways I never expected.
There was a time when I wanted the people who hurt me to feel the same pain they caused me. I wanted them to understand what it was like.
But somewhere along the way, God changed my heart. I realized that holding on to resentment was only hurting me.
Carrying anger doesn't heal the wound, it only keeps it open.
So I no longer pray for karma. I no longer wish for bad things to happen to those who hurt me.
Instead, I pray for peace. I pray for healing.
I pray for the strength to let go of what! cannot change and continue becoming the person God is calling me to be. Because I've learned that the greatest victory isn't getting even.
It's finding peace after everything you've been through. It's choosing to move forward without bitterness. And sometimes, healing begins the moment you stop asking for revenge and start asking God for peace.❤️🙏
