I’d tell them to start with the truth 💁🏽‍♀️

Southlake is beautiful. 😍 Top-rated schools, luxury homes, Town Square, strong resale value, great location, all of it.

But it’s also one of the most expensive suburbs in DFW ➡️ and honestly, it’s not the right fit for everyone.

Some people move there and absolutely love the lifestyle.
Others realize they’re paying a premium for things they don’t even prioritize.

That’s why I always tell relocation clients... ‼️Don’t just pick the suburb with the biggest name. Pick the one that actually fits your lifestyle, commute, goals, and budget long term.

Frisco keeps growing like crazy, Plano is still one of the most balanced cities in DFW, Allen is underrated, and McKinney continues to have people obsessed with the charm.

But here’s the thing nobody tells you ⬇️
Just because a suburb ranks high doesn’t mean it’s the right fit FOR YOU.

Your commute, lifestyle, budget, schools, pace of life, and even how you spend your weekends matter way more than a “best places” list.

Hot Take 🔥 Some houses are basically catfishing online!

Because photos can hide a lot! 🫣

They don't show the awkward layout, the dark rooms, the traffic noise, that weird smell, or the fact that the "dream backyard" backs up to your six neighbors and a busy road!

Meanwhile, some homes where the photos are so-so end up feeling incredible once you walk through the door.

That's why I always tell my buyers 👀 don't fall in love with the pictures. Fall in love with the feeling you get, and if it's going to serve your lifestyle long term.
