Northgate Construction recently completed the build-out of VKHH’s new office at Dallas Arts Tower.

This Class A space combines sophisticated materials, warm wood accents, dramatic stonework and expansive views to create an environment that feels every bit as impressive as its setting in the heart of the Dallas Arts District.

We’re proud to have been part of the team that brought Vartabedian Katz Hester & Haynes LLP’s new Dallas home to life and to be part of the continued transformation of Dallas Arts Tower into one of the city’s premier office destinations.

The vision for Downtown Dallas is ambitious and the opportunity is significant.

Some projects are about what you build. Others are about what you build together.

Terraces at The Drey is officially open and we couldn’t be more proud of what this team accomplished.

What began as an existing office building at The Village Dallas was reimagined and transformed into a boutique hotel through the vision, collaboration and persistence of a lot of talented people.

A special thank you to Phoenix Property Company for their foresight and vision and for seeing this project all the way from concept to completion.

From ownership and design to engineering, trades, vendors and our Northgate Construction team, it took everyone pulling in the same direction to bring this adaptive reuse project to life.

That’s what we love about construction. The finished space may get the attention, but it’s the people behind it who make it happen.

We’re proud to have been part of the team that helped turn the vision for Terraces at The Drey into a reality.

Now, it’s time for guests to experience it for themselves.

Dove hunting, good conversation, a little competition and somewhere along the way, clients become friends.

That’s one of the things I value most about this business. At Northgate Construction, we are fortunate to work with great clients, but the relationships we build often go well beyond the project.

The finish line is in sight at The Village Dallas.

It’s exciting to see Terraces at The Drey come together and to see the vision behind this adaptive reuse project becoming reality.

What was once an office building is being transformed into an elevated extension of The Drey Hotel, with thoughtful design, distinctive details and spaces created to feel just as inviting as the destination itself.

From the exterior architecture and terrace spaces to the lobby and guest experience inside, every detail is starting to come together.

Northgate Construction is proud to be part of Phoenix Property Company’s continued transformation of The Village and to help bring Terraces at The Drey to life.

September is here, and we’re excited to see Terraces at The Drey officially open its doors as the newest addition to The Village this month.

Some spaces are more than just an office.

Last week, we had the opportunity to attend the open house for The Real Estate Council TREC Dallas at their new home at Granite Properties Parkwell 33.

TREC plays such an important role in our Dallas CRE community by bringing people together, developing future leaders, influencing policy, creating opportunities for connection and education, and investing in the communities that make Dallas what it is.

TREC now has a space that reflects the organization they’ve become.
Northgate Construction had the opportunity to build out TREC’s new corporate office, and we are especially proud of the project because we also provided the capital improvements work throughout Parkwell 33.

It’s pretty special to see the space come to life and then see it filled with so many of the people who make our CRE community so strong. The open house was a great reminder that the built environment is ultimately about people - where we work, where we connect, and what we create together.

Congratulations to the TREC team on their new home. We’re proud to be a small part of this next chapter.

What a fun way to wrap up the summer! ☀️

On Friday afternoon, 50+ women got together for a Ladies CRE gathering with lots of catching up, meeting new people, making new connections and, of course, plenty of laughs.

One of the things I love about commercial real estate is that relationships really do matter. Some were old friends, some longtime business relationships, and some brand-new connections. It was fun to bring everyone together and talk about how we can work together moving forward.

Northgate Construction was happy to be one of the many hosts. Grateful for this group of smart, talented women and looking forward to what’s ahead!
