Highmark Residential is excited to welcome Tammy Swaney as our new Director of Data Science.

Tammy brings more than 19 years of experience across multifamily operations, technology, reporting, and analytics. Throughout her career, she has helped teams strengthen the way they use data, from supporting major system conversions to expanding reporting capabilities and helping operational teams turn information into actionable insights.

In her new role, Tammy will help lead the continued development of Highmark Analytics, support broader adoption of REBA, and work closely with teams across the organization to strengthen our data and analytics capabilities. Her experience connecting technology with the day-to-day needs of onsite and operational teams will be a valuable addition as Highmark continues to build a more data-informed approach across our portfolio.

Outside of work, Tammy enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and exploring historical sites.

At Highmark Residential, Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to celebrate the stories, traditions, and experiences that shape our associates, our teams, and the communities we serve.

This month, we invited associates across Highmark to share a little about the people, memories, traditions, and cultural influences that have helped shape who they are today. We’re excited to announce the promotion of A***n Tolentino to Regional Training Director, South Florida, at Highmark Residential.

Since joining Highmark in 2024, A***n has brought a strong background in property management, lease-up operations, resident relations, sales and marketing, and community operations. His experience working closely with onsite teams and residents has given him a valuable perspective on what it takes to support teams, strengthen performance, and create a consistent resident experience.

In his new role, A***n will focus on strengthening training programs, supporting team development, and helping our South Florida teams continue to grow and succeed. His ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, and help others succeed makes him a great addition to Highmark Residential’s Learning and Development team.

At Highmark Residential, investing in our people means creating opportunities to learn, grow, and strengthen the leadership skills that support our teams and communities.

Several of our Central Florida Community Directors recently came together through The Apartment Association of Greater Orlando (AAGO) for a session focused on “Leadership in the Next Generation.”

Bringing leaders from across the region together to learn from one another, share perspectives, and continue building their skills is one of the ways we support growth at every level of our organization.

Summer is winding down, but warmer days aren’t going anywhere just yet. ☀️

As we make the transition into fall, sometimes the best place to spend an afternoon or evening is a little closer to home. Whether it’s catching up with neighbors, unwinding after the workday, spending a weekend with friends, or simply changing up the scenery, the spaces within our communities are designed to be enjoyed as part of everyday life.

At Highmark Residential, we know a community is about more than the apartment itself. It’s also about creating places where residents can connect, recharge, have fun, and feel at home beyond their front door.

So while we wait for the temperatures to catch up with the calendar, there are still plenty of ways to make the most of the season.💙

Last week, leaders from across Highmark Residential came together in Dallas for RISE 2026, our annual Leadership Summit built around three simple ideas: Connect. Communicate. Commit.

For three days, we stepped outside of the day-to-day to learn together, challenge our thinking, strengthen relationships across the organization, and align around what comes next.

There were plenty of memorable moments along the way, but what made the week meaningful was the people in the room. Leaders from across Highmark brought different experiences, markets, and perspectives together with one shared goal: becoming better for our teams, our residents, and the communities we serve.

When our people have the opportunity to connect, learn from one another, and understand the bigger picture, it strengthens how we communicate, how we make decisions, and how we show up for our teams across the Highmark Residential portfolio.

Thank you to everyone who helped bring RISE 2026 to life and to the leaders who continue to shape what Highmark Residential becomes next. 💙

Please join us in welcoming Angela Stanberry to Highmark Residential as Regional Manager for the South Texas Region.

Angela brings nearly 30 years of multifamily housing experience, with a strong background in property operations, team development, asset performance, and strategic leadership. Throughout her career, she has overseen diverse portfolios across Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, Tulsa, and Las Vegas.

Her experience spans stabilized communities, new construction and lease-ups, acquisitions and dispositions, and multimillion-dollar renovation projects. Angela has built a strong track record of improving property performance, driving NOI growth, developing high-performing teams, and leading communities through periods of transition and change.

In her role at Highmark Residential, Angela will support our Houston apartment communities with a focus on operational performance, team development, and creating strong experiences for both our residents and onsite teams.

Outside of work, Angela enjoys painting, gardening, and spending time with her family.

When Beverly joined Highmark Residential in 2016, she was looking for a company built on integrity, strong leadership, family values, and a genuine commitment to its people. A decade later, those values and the relationships she has built along the way continue to make her experience at Highmark meaningful.

Beverly brings nearly 30 years of multifamily experience to her role, with a career that began in leasing in 1996. Since then, she has built a strong foundation in property operations and leadership, supporting teams, communities, and residents throughout her career.

During her 10 years with Highmark Residential, Beverly has continued to strengthen relationships, develop teams, and provide steady leadership across our North Florida portfolio.

Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for thoughtful leadership, collaborative problem-solving, and an unwavering commitment to safety, quality, and operational efficiency.

In his role, Joseph will support construction and capital projects across Highmark Residential’s West Region apartment communities.
