🚨 HOOSICK FALLS: FREE PET VACCINATION CLINIC 🐾

In response to the recent canine parvovirus outbreak in Hoosick Falls, Mohawk Hudson Humane Society is offering a FREE community vaccination clinic for dogs and cats.

📅 Wednesday, September 9
⏰ 3–7 p.m.
📍 24 Main Street, Hoosick Falls — next to the Police Department

🐶 Dogs: DAPPv vaccine
🐱 Cats: FVRCP vaccine

Vaccinations will be provided first come, first served, with capacity for approximately 70 pets.

⚠️ Please bring:
• Dogs on non-retractable leashes
• Cats in carriers
• Proof of vaccination for pets with a vaccination history

Pets who are not current on their vaccines will need a booster in 3–4 weeks. Information on scheduling boosters through MHHS will be available at the clinic.

Parvovirus is highly contagious and can be deadly, especially for puppies and unvaccinated dogs. Vaccination is one of the best ways to protect your pets and help prevent the spread of this serious disease.

Vaccines are generously provided by a grant from Petco Love.

Free Drive-Thru Rabies Clinic 9/12/26

The Columbia County Department of Health will be having a FREE drive-thru rabies clinic on Saturday, September 12th from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Columbia County Training Center (50 Grandinetti Dr., Ghent, NY 12075).

This clinic is for cats, dogs and ferrets at least 3 months of age. Donations are not required but will be accepted and appreciated to help offset the cost of the vaccine. Animal breeders MUST use their own Veterinarian for rabies vaccines.

Pre-registration is required. Please register in advance by using the link below, or scan the QR code on the attached flyer. Alternatively, you can call the Columbia County Department of Health at (518) 828-3358.
