Since we're so focused on setting a higher bar at The Rosenblum Companies, it felt right to host this year's annual team BBQ at Indian 'Ladder" Farm." The new farm-approved egg race competition had us all cracking up and spirits ran as high as the music volume during karaoke despite a fast moving summer storm. Thankfully, our new team giveaway was a "wetter spaces" logo umbrella!

The annual ice cream social is our coolest event! Tenants from our Great Oaks Office Park, Wolf Road Area offices, and 500 Patroon Creek beat the heat with scoops from Emack & Bolio's, tried to beat their colleagues in corn hole, and enjoyed upbeat tunes from DJ Emvy!

Sally Librera, President, National Grid NY, Matthew Barnett, COO of National Grid NY Electric, and a team from the utility recently joined us for a hard hat tour of Sol Apartments - Troy NY.

When you’re developing new real estate projects, particularly high-performance buildings like Sol, engaging with the electric utility early and often is crucial, but not just because you need assurance that there will be sufficient energy capacity.

There are emerging opportunities for grid-interactive buildings that decrease the load on the utility system while lowering costs. We're thankful to be partnering with National Grid on improving building efficiency and reducing energy demand, particularly during times the electric grid is stressed.
