Toys R Us is opening a store at the Allen Outlets. Any parents excited/nostalgic for this?

Toys R Us is coming soon to the Allen Premium Outlets as part of a major, 120 store expansion, according to a Sept. 17 news release.

Many remember spending ages walking isles of troys as children, including action figures, books, art supplies, dolls, stuffed animals, puzzles, sidewalk chalk, board games and more. The store will be located next to the Famous Footwear Outlet. The opening date is still TBD, but it sounds official that it will be at 820 W Stacy Road, Ste. 160, Allen, TX 75013.

The popular North Texas burger spot has signed a lease at Sloan Corners, the massive $3 billion mixed-use development taking shape near SH-121 and US-75.

🍔 Creative burgers + hand-punched fries
🍺 Craft b**r and drinks
🌳 Located near the development’s Bravo Park
🌮 Mexican Bar Company + Flat Grounds Coffee also planned nearby
🏗️ Sloan Corners spans roughly 480 acres
💰 Estimated $3 billion investment at full buildout

Sloan Corners is expected to eventually bring nearly 4,000 multifamily residences, more than 180,000 square feet of initial retail and restaurant space and over 50 acres of parks and open space to Allen and Fairview.

An opening date for Rodeo Goat has not yet been announced.

This role is perfect for someone who is reliable, organized, tech-friendly, and enjoys a mix of office work, errands, listing support, 3D home scans, sign/lockbox runs, client packet prep, and helping keep things moving behind the scenes.

We’re looking for someone who is professional, adaptable, and not afraid of variety. Bonus points for someone with a creative eye for simple marketing materials and events.

Hours are typically 20-25 hours per week, with some busier weeks up to 35 hours.
