Theresa Grella NH Real Estate Agent Experience, Integrity and Results. Theresa's 30+ years of experience as a top-producing Southern NH REALTOR will help you get results!

I grew up in Milford and Amherst, leaving briefly to attend Colby Sawyer College in New London, NH, where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management in 1984. I became a licensed real estate agent in 1985, and I worked at RE/MAX Country Properties, which eventually became Virtual Homes Real Estate, from 1989 until 2012, when Bean Group bought out the company. I am an

active member of the Amherst community. Since 1993, I have volunteered my services as both a member and the President of the Amherst Junior Women’s Club. I am also an Educational Surrogate Parent in several local school districts and a Board Member of Community Business Members Care, a non-profit run by business leaders to support and sustain the needs of other not-for-profits. Along with my daughter, Amey, I am an avid runner and have put in many miles with my running club, See Jane Run. As a member of the Greater Manchester/Nashua Board of REALTORS (GMNBR), the New Hampshire Association of REALTORS, and the National Association of REALTORS, I am proud to offer my clients a high level of professionalism that is governed by the REALTOR Code of Ethics. Being a member of these associations has also given me opportunities to volunteer my time. In 2011 and 2012, I served as the Director of the GMNBR; in 2013, I was elected Vice President, and in 2014, I became President. I served as the Immediate Past President in 2015 and was chosen as the 2015 GMNBR REALTOR of the Year and the 2015 Good Neighbor for the GMNBR. I enjoy working with both buyers and sellers and have received several designations to help me better serve my clients. I am a member of the Council of Residential Specialists (CRS) and am a Seller Representative Specialist (SRS) and an Accredited Buyer’s Representation Specialist (ABR). I have also been awarded the Green Designation through the National Association of REALTORS and am Loss Mitigation Certified and a member of the Women’s Council of REALTORS. I am proud of my community and enjoy working with buyers and sellers to share my enthusiasm and knowledge of all that is offered in the Southern New Hampshire area.

🇺🇸 Vietnam War Veterans Day. 🇺🇸

Shannon McGahn, executive vice president and chief advocacy officer of the National Association of REALTORS®, issued a statement after the address, highlighting both opportunities and challenges in the national housing agenda:
“In a recent poll commissioned by NAR, 85% of American voters said they believe homeownership is central to the American dream because it represents stability, upward mobility, and the opportunity to build generational wealth. The National Association of REALTORS® is grateful that the president and members of Congress are focused on addressing the nation's housing affordability and supply challenges. We share the goal of increasing housing inventory at all price points and advancing policies that strengthen communities, grow local economies, and create opportunities rather than limit it.”
NAR has already supported several bipartisan housing bills including the Housing for the 21st Century Act, a bipartisan measure designed to reduce barriers to housing production and improve affordability nationwide, which passed in the House earlier this month.

According to REALTOR.com on the subject of listing your home during the Winter Months;

Should holiday decorations come down? Some decorations can add a festive mood to your home. But avoid going overboard. If you have a Christmas tree, consider removing ornaments that are too personal. Save them to put up next year in your new home.

It IS a great time to list your home for sale.
Here are some tips for selling in the Winter months;
Here are ways to maximize the appeal of your home during the winter:
* Focus on curb appeal. Clean up fallen leaves and dead branches. Make the front door inviting with planted topiaries, a festive door wreath and a fresh welcome mat.
* Make the exterior safe. If you’re in an area with ice and snow, clear the driveway and walking paths. Spread rock salt or sand to prevent slips and falls.
* Spruce up the interior. Declutter and clean all the rooms. Then, add warmth with fuzzy throw pillows and blankets. If you have a fireplace, fire it up for open houses—but never when the home is unattended for any period. Set your dining table as if you’re hosting a holiday get-together.
* Add potted indoor plants. Flowering plants or an indoor herb garden can add additional warmth and liven up the interior of your home.
* Light it up. Clean windows to allow more natural light to shine through. Replace burned out lightbulbs, add standing lamps to darker spaces, and turn on all the lights for showings to ensure the home is bright and cheerful.
* Warm it up. Keep the temperature at a comfortable level for showings. Turning down the thermostat will make your home feel cold and uninviting.
*Accommodate showing requests. Allowing showings during the holiday season can be difficult, but the answer to showing requests should almost always be yes. Don’t miss out on showing your beautiful home to motivated buyers.
* Pay attention to the senses. Buyers may be sensitive to strong perfumes and scented candles. Opt first for a “clean” smell, and then consider adding a touch of vanilla, citrus or cinnamon.
